TREATMENTS

DR. ONG AND HIS TEAM OFFER COMPREHENSIVE TREATMENT FOR THE ENTIRE FAMILY.

CLEANING AND PERIO MAINTENANCE

We recommend cleanings every 6 months or 2 times a year.  For certain cases we do we require 3 to 4 month recall. We also do scaling and root planning in our office and non-surgical periodontics.

CHILD AND PREVENTIVE DENTISTRY
Taking care of primary/baby teeth is just as important as adult teeth.  According to the American Acadamy of Pediatric Dentistry, children should come in for thier first dental visit at the age of 18 months.  At this visit the main focus is parent education and a dental exam.  Cleanings should be done every 6 months after that.

We offer sealants, fluoride treaments, early orthodontia, restorations, and extractions.  To make their visits a little bit easier we have family friendly movies playing and of course a toy chest for when the visit it all done.

RESTORATIVE DENTISTRY

Restorative dentistry includes everything from dental fillings and crowns to bridges and dentures for replacing missing teeth. Our goal is to restore your teeth so that you can experience the quality of life you desire. Your treatment plan will be tailored to meet your needs, including cosmetic options to enhance your smile.

ENDODONTICS

(ROOT CANAL TREATMENT)

When the inside of the tooth is diseased or injured, the pulp tissue dies. If this tissue is not removed, the tooth gets infected and may cause pain. We provide root canal treatment to save the natural tooth. The diseased pulp is removed, root canal is cleaned and sealed to protect it. Most of the time a root canal procedure can be done with little or no discomfort in one to two visits.

Signs and symptoms of the possible need for a root canal may include a tooth that is discolored, broken, sensitive to cold/ heat or is experiencing severe pain when chewing or applying pressure.

It is recommend an artificial crown after root canal treatment because it will help stop future infections and strengthen/stabilize the tooth.  In most case, the tooth should last a lifetime if you regularly care for your teeth and gums

IMPLANT DENTISTRY

Every situation is different for every patient but often the preferred treatment for tooth replacement is the dental implant.  The dental implant is the most natural feeling and looking way to restore missing teeth and in theory the longest lasting restoration.

A dental implant is placed into the jaw to substitute for a missing tooth root.  There is a healing period for the bone to heal around the titanium post before a tooth can be attached and restored to the implant post.  Dental implants can support single or multiple crowns or stabilize a denture.  Ask your dentist if an implant is an option for you.

EMERGENCY/TOOTH ACHE

We can provide emergency care for same-day emergencies and are also available on call for dental emergencies after hours.
